Let’s be honest—Photoshop can do wonders especially when you’re an expert at using all those techniques. But, again, let’s be honest that not everyone has knowledge in maximizing this photo editor.
Don’t worry, you’re not alone. I also know only the basics in Photoshop and nothing more than that. Thankfully, I discovered and used some photo editors that I really find helpful for my work, blog, or even my social media posts.

Basic transparent PNG maker
This helped me in creating a PNG file for my blog logo. If you have a logo or any photo with a solid color background that you’d like to make transparent, you may try Online PNG Tools. It’s a simple photo editor that creates a PNG image by just uploading the file on their site. In a snap, it’ll display a downloadable PNG file for you. You can also adjust the transparency rate and color below.
Note that this works best with images that have a solid color background.
Cropping image into a cirle
Wanting to be more creative? There’s actually no need to use Photoshop to have your image cropped in a circle shape. I recently discovered Image Online Co. and here’s where I’ve been editing the photos that I want in this shape, perfect for giving your blog sites some decoration.
Canva is life
Canva can be your best friend if you’re really into creativity. It has a wide variety of designs you can choose from such as greeting cards, invitations, blog banner, logo, Wattpad book cover, IG stories, posters, Facebook posts, etc. You can also personalize the design using your own photos and pick fancy font styles on their site. What I love with this photo editor is that it allows you to create an account so all your designs are saved in there. It’s much more convenient and extensive if you upgrade to Canva Pro account which is totally worth it.
Photoscape for hassle-free editing
Photoscape is one of my go-to photo editors. It is a free photo editing software that provides a full suite of tools that you can use for editing and enhancing your photos. Some of its features are mole removal, red-eye correction, clone stamp, among others. Aside from editing, it also lets you create a collage, GIF, and edit photos at the same time through Batch Editor. More importantly, it doesn’t need an internet connection.
In my opinion, PowerPoint is more than just a presentation slides maker. I really find it flexible and convenient when I do creative banners or photos. Why? A user can remove the background of an image in the slide. It also lets you crop an image you inserted in the slide depends on the shape you prefer. You can do a collage of photos in a creative way. You can insert a photo as a background and put a text using a good font style on top of it.
Through its Design Ideas feature, there are pretty good design options that will pop out on the right side as you work on a slide. On top of that, you can also save each slide as PNG file and upload it as you please. This may take an ample amount of time to get the hang of it, but you’ll definitely find it helpful in photo editing.
