Why switch to natural beauty products

Organic beauty products

Many cosmetic brands have emerged following the hype for skincare and other beauty routines. However, natural beauty products have always been invaluable amongst all the options in the market.

While synthetic beauty products are mostly preferred, are we actually getting real benefits? Perhaps. But in case you’re asking why would I use natural beauty products? It’s simple—our skin deserves better treatment.

Natural ingredients are safer

Most synthetic beauty items contain harmful chemicals that can cause adverse effects when used. Studies have shown that ingredients like parabens, phthalates, and other man-made chemicals often cause skin irritation or, in worst cases, harm our bodies in the long run. Whereas, beauty products made of natural ingredients are guaranteed safe so you can focus on pampering yourself.

It’s non-allergenic

With the absence of harsh chemicals, natural beauty products can work wonders even on sensitive skin. It’s also good for your baby’s skin. Most natural beauty products are allergy safe and do not contain common synthetic irritants. In rare cases, users can be allergic to such but often due to natural ingredients like strawberries or tomatoes so it’s best to always check the label.

Gentle on skin

Unnatural cosmetic products may be gratifying with its fast, visible results. However, when used for a long period of time, some of its chemicals can damage your skin or cause premature aging. Non-synthetic products, on the other hand, give you the nutritional benefits of its natural ingredients, so there’s no worry for unfavorable effects after years of use.

You’re helping Filipino farmers

When you buy natural beauty products, you’re already helping the farmers. Local beauty brands like Human Nature are supporting Filipino farmers by buying their raw materials at fair trade prices. Profits earned from purchases are reinvested back to farming communities to increase the quality and quantity of their production.Human Nature is one of the top brands offering genuinely natural cosmetics and personal/home care products. This means their items are entirely made of natural ingredients and not just “nature-inspired” mixed with other chemicals. It is actually the first beauty brand in the country to be certified Cruelty Free by PETA Asia-Pacific.

Human Nature also empowers people through its dealership program. My dearest friend, Clarissa, is actually one of their official dealers! Her shop, Holy Grail, is offering Human Nature products with 15% off for the whole of 2020. You can check her profile on Human Nature here.
