Wow, it’s been a while since I wrote a blog here and I know I’ve missed a lot of content from my fellow bloggers. I’m actually hesitant to go back again to this hobby but I don’t want to waste the hosting and domain I paid for! So I told myself, I can do this again and, perhaps, write occasionally when I feel like doing it.
I’m just doing this post to kind of jumpstart again and officially allow myself to enjoy blogging after the unannounced hiatus. I don’t know why but I ended up feeling tired juggling work and blogging. By late last year, we started going back to our normal working hours and that left me no time to write and think. It was mentally exhausting, not to mention I also have other personal matters to attend to. Until I became lazy visiting and updating my website.
As you can see, my latest post was in October 2020. And it’s March 2021!
We’re already 1 year in quarantine (at least here in the Philippines) and nothing remarkable has actually happened to my life. My daily pattern would always be work-rest-work-rest and, to be honest, this routine is burning me out. I’m sure I’m not the only one. There are a lot of us who thought working from home is VERY okay until we come to the point that the boundary between work and life is becoming blurred.
That’s why, I still recommend you, guys, to come out occasionally—eat at a restaurant, drink coffee somewhere else, have a grocery run, meet your friends while following health measures. Do something outside your house! We’re humans and it’s our nature to socialize so it’s vital to also take care of our well-being during these tough times.
Lately, my pastimes have always been sleeping (lol) and watching Youtube or Netflix. Please do watch Vincenzo, it’s a great series! But I will write a separate blog about that.
I won’t make this blog post take much of your time. I’m basically just dropping by to say hello and hopefully, I will be able to write more content soon! Stay safe!
